You come on this forum stating a front mounted intercooler is better for the Z32, yet youve done probably very little (more likely none) research on them. There is absolutely no need for a front mount intercoolers' capabilities unless your making huge HP numbers. Until your making enough power, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. I know your not going to search, so heres a few. The first, and main problem with a front mount, is that it reverses the cross flow, with the exception of the HKS front mount intercooler, which is twice as much as a side mount upgrade. Secondly, it blocks alot of airflow to the radiator. No matter how you look at it, your heating the air thats meant to cool the radiator, losing cooling effiencieny (try and argue that, i dare you) and at the same time impeding the flow. Cool your boost, heat your coolant? Or stick with side mount and cool both. Ill leave the descision up to you. Pre-judging you by your 'TEG, you're impeded by the ricer mentality, and i wish you luck on this forum. The only reason your 'TEG had an increase in power was because I'm sure the side mount you were using was probably alot smaller. Realize, we have two side mounted intercoolers.
